Habitat of the Long eared Owl

Long eared Owls need a structural reach environment. Lots of perching possibilities, old trees with crow nests, and short grassfields are necessary for them..
Also rich populations of fieldmice and little lizards together with songbirds build a solid foundation to successfully raise young..
Such populations of mice, lizards, spermophilus and lots of different songbirds are found in the structural rich landscape of the World Cultural Heritage Wachau.
